Sarbat da Bhala, meaning for the good of all, is a core Sikh belief.

The Sikh Education and Technology Foundation believes that everyone should have equitable opportunities and access to quality education and technology — as life-long learning allows one to widen wisdom, live an honest life, and further serve others.

We achieve this mission by awarding scholarships to exemplary students seeking higher or extended education, providing mentorship programs, hosting technical development and networking events, and much more.

A lasting message from our founder…

Over the years I have faced a lot of set-backs and adversity in my life. What helped me get through these tough moments was support and guidance from key people in my life — mentors. Leaning on my mentors I was able to turn points of my life around and accel to where I am today.

Over the years in school and in the technology industry I have seen a lack of representation of our Punjabi and Sikh community. Some reasons I believe this gap exists are lack of quality opportunities, accessibility, mentorship, and resources.

Seeing how important mentorship was in my life, however realizing how difficult it is to find a quality mentor I want to do everything in my power to help our community grow through mentorship, education, and opportunity. To bridge these gaps, I set forth on my mission to found this organization to increase opportunity and accessibility to quality education, mentorship, and resources for our greater community.
